Pants on the Ground on TwitterSo, I guess Mr. Larry Platt decided that he should pay a visit to the Vikings before their game to give them a little encouragement. He performed Pants on the Ground for them and had them in stitches. The video isn’t the greatest quality but it’s still funny.
You guys are going to love this one. This is a spoof with Redneck Idol and the guy performs Pants on the Ground. You have to see when the little girl with the blonde curls acts as “security” and escorts him out of the building! Way too funny!
Larry Platt likely had no clue that his song Pants on the Ground was going to go viral on the Internet. He likely had no clue that websites were going to be talking about it and going totally crazy with it. So, he didn’t have it copyrighted before he went on American Idol. Chris Tritco, Legal Analyst, says that he should have copyrighted the song first but that doesn’t mean that he can’t claim legal rights to it. What will he be able to claim in the future? Well, people who do stuff on youtube will not be able to profit off it so he won’t be able to get anything there. Me, I’ve made a few cents through advertising but as far as I’m concerned that is in exchange for providing a service of informing fans about what is going on. The domain? I might lose that and if his lawyers come to me and say, “You have to hand over this domain,” I’ll gladly do it. He deserves it. But the ones that should really be worried are the ones that are making up t-shirts and stuff like that with his likeness on them and his phrase, “Pants on the Ground.” I’m betting that they should be a little worried.

Justin Beiber is at that age when he can’t help but be cute but if he doesn’t change his “cute” factor soon he’ll never make it into mainstream pop. Nonetheless, he like the Pants on the Ground song just as much as everyone else and did a cover of it while getting interviewed at a radio station. Wonder what Larry Platt would think of this one?
