No Copyright = No Money

According to TMZ magazine, since Larry Platt had not bothered to copyright the song, Pants on the Ground, he hasn’t made a cent from it.  People are singing it all over the place, groups are remaking it into cover songs, and a sneaky American Idol employee even bought the .com of the domain name months ago.  There are t-shirts all over the place with Larry Platt’s image and phrase all over it but he’s not making anything.  So, he’s finally being smart and getting himself a lawyer.

And he’s even interested in doing a duet with Brett Lafavre, quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings!

Brett Favre of the Vikings Does Pants on the Ground

So, how does Brett Favre, quarterback of the moment for the Minnesota Vikings, celebrate yet another win? By doing his own version of Pants on the Ground of course. If the Minnesota defense can put the Saints’ pants on the ground next weekend they will be headed to the Super Bowl, likely against the Colts. Maybe this will be their new lucky song? Wonder if Larry Platt is a football fan?
