YouTube – General Larry Platt Performs Pants On The Ground (The Grammys Red Carpet)

While addressing the provincial legislature recently and criticizing the Conservative Opposition leader, New Brunswick Liberal MLA T.J. Burke got a little bit creative. His creativity resulted in him singing a quick little version of Pants on the Ground.
This is the stupidest thing I’ve read today. These guys are trying to say that General Larry Platt stole the song Pants on the Ground and that it was originally recorded in 1996. Well, if you look at this video and listen to the song you’ll see that it is NOTHING like the song the General sings. The beat isn’t even close to the same, the phrase, “pants on the ground” isn’t even used, and it doesn’t even sound somewhat like it. What the hell are they thinking. It just pisses me off that someone is trying to rain on his parade!
So, I guess Mr. Larry Platt decided that he should pay a visit to the Vikings before their game to give them a little encouragement. He performed Pants on the Ground for them and had them in stitches. The video isn’t the greatest quality but it’s still funny.
You guys are going to love this one. This is a spoof with Redneck Idol and the guy performs Pants on the Ground. You have to see when the little girl with the blonde curls acts as “security” and escorts him out of the building! Way too funny!
